Gheed To be honest, I have done my best to stay clear of Gheed. He wears dishonesty about himself like a cloak and seeks only to better his situation by preying on the misfortunes of others. Evil The wilderness is overrun with Evil and the minions of Hell have taken our rightful home.
We must purge all Evil from the Monastery and restore order to the world. Sightless Eye I often dream of the day we reclaim our own. The Sightless Eye sees through the mist of time a great glory ahead, but how far ahead the Eye cannot discern. Mental discipline Our mental discipline is matched only by our skill in archery I only hope these are enough to withstand this awful trial. Corruption Beware that you do not suffer the fate of the corrupted Rogues. To lose one's life is a tragedy, but to lose one's soul is even worse.
Corrupted Rogues Even though the corrupted ones were once of our Order, you need not shy from slaying them, for they stand between you and Andariel. Perhaps, when the Demon Queen is dead, our Sisters will return to life, but more likely they will be forever bound to their unholy pact.
Over the generations our Order has become a deadly fighting force as well as a bastion for women who sought to forge their own destiny. Yet beware, young one, the lure of power and knowledge can lead to disaster. I have seen ambition foul the bravest of hearts and recklessness dull hard-won wisdom. You would do well to tread lightly upon the dark path you have chosen to explore.
Quest Initiation There is a place of great evil in the wilderness. Kashya's Rogue scouts have informed me that a cave nearby is filled with shadowy creatures and horrors from beyond the grave. I fear that these creatures are massing for an attack against our encampment. If you are sincere about helping us, find the dark labyrinth and destroy the foul beasts.
May the Great Eye watch over you. After Initiate I should add that many Rogue scouts have died in that horrible place. We cannot afford to lose any more. If you choose to enter that Den of Evil, you must do so alone. Early Return Your task is not complete until you have killed all the demons in that cave.
Upon Completion You have cleansed the Den of Evil. You've earned my trust and may yet restore my faith in humanity. Your reward is training in the skill of your choice. She was never quite the same afterwards. It is now obvious she brought an evil influence back with her. Upon Completion Andariel must be made to pay for her sacrilege!
Quest Initiation It is clear that we are facing an Evil difficult to comprehend, let alone combat. There is only one Horadrim sage, schooled in the most arcane history and lore, who could advise us His name is Deckard Cain. You must go to Tristram and find him, my friend. I pray that he still lives. After Initiate Tristram is too far to journey by foot Cain would likely be dead, when you arrived. However, there is a magical portal that will take you there instantly.
To open it, one must stand within the circle of Cairn Stones and touch them in a certain order. The proper order can be found in the runes written on the bark of the Tree of Inifuss. In the first act, a mere hour or two into Diablo 2 Resurrected, players will come across Cairn Stones and might have no clue how to activate them. In this guide, we explain what the Cairn Stones are actually used for, how to find the Tree of Inifuss' location, and rescue an "old friend" in the process.
Akara states: "It is clear that we are facing an Evil difficult to comprehend, let alone combat. There is only one Horadrim sage, schooled in the most arcane history and lore, who could advise us His name is Deckard Cain. You must go to Tristram and find him, my friend. I pray that he still lives. The town of Tristram from the original Diablo is too far away, which means players need another way to travel to Tristram.
That's where the Cairn Stones come into play. Important note, kill Fallen Shamans before anything else—these monsters can revive Fallens that you kill. Sometimes, the Fallen you encounter will flee from you in the direction you came from, so you might have to double back and eliminate any stragglers.
The Quest menu will read you back the number of enemies left when you get closer to zero. Once you've rid of all enemies, the light will pierce the rock above and begin shining into the cave, indicating that you've cleared the Den of Evil.
Head back to Akara either by walking back or using a Scroll of Town Portal and receive your reward, one free skill point and a one-time attribute and skill respec. Use the latter wisely! As it is only available once per playthrough. She'll inform you that one of Andarial's lieutenants, Blood Raven, has been spotted hanging around the burial grounds, raising the dead there to serve as soldiers for her army.
She wants you to go to the burial grounds and eliminate her. Look around for the first waypoint, which should be near the corridor leading from the Blood Moor.
You might want to poke around in the Cold Plains for a bit, gaining a few levels and perhaps finding better equipment before taking on Blood Raven, as she can be pretty tough. You can also take a detour into the Caves beneath the Cold Plains, where you can find plenty of Unique monsters there, as well as a gold chest. The main trail will most likely fork twice to reach the Caves and once to head on to the Stony Field. Once you find the Burial Grounds, you'll come across a large cemetery filled with Hungry Dead and Skeletons.
Blood Raven will be in the middle, surrounded by her army. She can be a reasonably tricky enemy for low-level characters with her swift movement around the area. Blood Raven strikes with a bow and can imbue her arrows with a fire attack, though this only occurs every fifth arrow or so.
She'll periodically stop raising a few more zombies from the ground, so don't bother dealing with them. Head straight for Blood Raven and start attacking her. It would be advantageous if you have any ranged attack or spells since she'll often just run away when you get close enough for a melee attack.
Be sure you have enough healing potions to survive, and once you kill her, she'll take all of her minions with her in a burst of lightning. You can head back to town to heal up if you want to. But we recommend exploring both the Crypt and the Mausoleum in the Burial Grounds. Each of these will have a couple of Unique monsters and gold chests. Once you complete the quest, Kasha will let you hire rogue warriors to fight alongside you; she'll even give you one right away for free.
She'll ask you to travel to Tristram and see if Deckard Cain, the last of the Horadrim, is still alive. Once you reach the Stony Field, you'll need the entrance to the Underground Passage, this underground caves will lead you to the Dark Wood, the location of the Tree of Inifuss. The caves are enormous, though, so it might take you some time to find the exit. There are plenty of enemies in there, so make sure you don't attract too many groups at once. Once you reach the Dark Wood, finding the Tree of Inifuss shouldn't be too tricky—you'll know it when you see it; it's a large white tree in the middle of a barren patch of land.
Treehand Woodfist, a Super Unique Brute, will be in the area protecting it, so be prepared to fight him and his minions. Clicking on the Tree of Inifuss will send the scroll to the ground. Load more. Act I: The Sightless Eye. Den of Evil The Search for Cain. Healer Merchant. Rogue Encampment.
